KMRUS provides complete mineral processing equipment flows covering crushing, grinding, screening, gravity separation, flotation, magnetic separation, and dewatering. We serve metal ores (gold, copper, nickel, tin, iron, manganese, tungsten, lead-zinc, molybdenum, etc.), non-metal ores (graphite, fluorite, phosphate, etc.), and coal. The specific process route is customized based on your ore type, grade, dissemination size, and throughput. We recommend providing an ore test report (multi-element analysis, phase analysis, particle size analysis) so we can conduct beneficiation tests and propose a solution.
How do I choose between gravity separation and flotation?
The choice depends on ore properties. Gravity separation suits ores where valuable minerals and gangue have a large density difference and coarse dissemination (e.g., placer gold, alluvial tin, tungsten, hematite), with low cost, environmental friendliness, and fewer reagents, but lower efficiency for fine-grained ores. Flotation suits fine-grained, low density-difference ores with significant surface property differences (e.g., copper, lead-zinc, gold, graphite), offering high separation precision but requiring reagents, complex flow, and higher cost. In practice, a combined "gravity + flotation" flow is often used: gravity for coarse roughing/tailing rejection and flotation for slimes and middlings.
What equipment is needed for a 100-ton-per-day gold processing plant?
Typical small hard-rock gold plant configuration: ① Crushing: jaw crusher (PE250×400) + cone or impact crusher; ② Grinding: ball mill (MQ900×1800 or 1200×2400) + spiral classifier; ③ Flotation: conditioning tank + flotation cells (XJK-0.35 or SF-0.37, roughly 6–8 cells for roughing/scavenging/cleaning); ④ Dewatering: thickener + plate-and-frame filter press. Exact models depend on ore hardness, grade, and flowsheet. For placer gold, use a trommel scrubber + jig + shaking table for a simpler flow.

Is mineral processing testing necessary?
We strongly recommend it. Mineral processing tests are the scientific basis for determining the process flow, equipment selection, and economic indicators, including feasibility tests, condition tests, closed-circuit tests, and continuous pilot tests. A plan without test data is guesswork and may lead to insufficient recovery, wrong equipment selection, and wasted investment. KMRUS can provide laboratory beneficiation test services or guide you through local lab testing. For mature ore types such as alluvial tin and magnetite, reference to similar mines can simplify testing, but verification tests are still recommended.
